The Boker V-42 Devil’s Brigade Knife was created to honor the legendary 1st Special Service Force, in which American and Canadian soldiers were combined to form a special task force for battle behind enemy lines. The numerous nocturnal operations undertaken by this force and the camouflage they used caused this unit to be nicknamed the “Black Devils” by the German Wehrmacht. This knife is a replica of the specially designed V-42 combat knife given to Devil’s Brigade members as part of their extensive combat training. It features a corrugated thumb rest for a secure grip a curved pommel and thick leather padding under the handle, and a strong double-edged blade.
